Magpul USA is the company that makes aftermarket parts and accessories for real firearms to correct firearm fitting specifications. .T.S. (Professional training and Simulation) is a division of Magpul that makes parts and accessories for airsoft and simulation training. These parts are designed specifically to fit airsoft guns. Airsoft Electric Gun (AEG) grips are designed to house the motor and connector wires. Airsoft gun barrels do not heat up to high temperatures so the handguards are not required to have the same heat shield properties that grips made for real firearms require. All PTS products will have a “MAGPUL PTS” moulded into the part for identification.
In essence, if you are looking to purchase Magpul items for your real firearm, choose Magpul USA products rather than the PTS variety. If you wish to have the MAgpul parts on your airsoft gun and that part fit correctly, purchase the Magpul PTS variant.
