In partnership with the British Field Target Association, the European Field Target Championship took place at the Midland Game Fair over the weekend, witnessing 110 of the finest shooters from in and around Europe hoping to claim victory and steal the 2014 title.
This weekend’s action was really an open book, with both old and new competitors hoping to follow the same path to success as as last year’s winner, Jack Harris, did and dominate the leader board in the 2014 championships.
The action from across the two day shoot was intense and scoring was very close indeed, we can now confirm that Simon Ayers went on to claim this year’s hotly contested title and has been crowned the new European FT Champion for 2014.
A fantastic final to end a great weekend of competition, Simon Ayers not only took home the much sought after 2014 title but also a brand new FTP 900, donated by Air Arms, which will no doubt accompany him when out shooting in the future.
