CLA Gamefair Press Day

Journalists were given a taster of the 2015 CLA Game Fair at the annual Have-A-Go Press Day.

The CLA Game Fair’s annual Have-A-Go Press Day proved hugely successful as more than 30 journalists visited Harewood House in Yorkshire to try their hand at fly fishing, clay shooting, kayaking, archery and Stihl Timbersports.

The popular event is aimed at press who might not be familiar with the CLA Game Fair or country sports.  Journalists from BBC Countryfile, The Telegraph, Yorkshire Post, Living North, Lifestyle Yorkshire and Stray FM all attended the event.

Journalists were also treated to a gundog demonstration and a talk from a Young Ambassador from The Prince’s Trust, which is the official charity of the 2015 CLA Game Fair.

Tony Wall, Director of the CLA Game Fair, commented: “This important event gives our team the chance to chat to local and national journalists who might not be familiar with the three-day show or country sports. We relish the opportunity to spend the day explaining the ethos the CLA Game Fair to key people of influencer in the press.”
